Standing Behind Our Cadets
The Club’s purpose is to unite, support, and provide information about West Point to Cadets and their families. Through our club meetings and other activities, we share our experiences and mentor parents as their sons and daughters progress through West Point’s 47 month program of academic, physical, military, moral and ethical development.
The West Point Parents Club of Connecticut is a nonprofit organization. In order to support cadet-related activities, the Club collects dues and sells merchandise.

How to Join
Membership is open to all parents, friends, and families of current West Point cadets from Connecticut. Click the Join Now button and complete the membership form. Dues are $200, which covers all four years. WPPC of CT personalized name tags [Parent name, Cadet Name and year of graduation] are optional for an additional $20 each.
Member Benefits and How your Dues are spent
We provide a personal connection to other families within the West Point community as a source of information, advice, and support. Activities are planned to provide families opportunities to gather together. Dues are used to help support these events.
What types of events does the club organize?
Here are a few examples
• Mid-Beast Boost: Meet and greet in mid-July to welcome new families of the incoming class.
• Army Football Tailgate parties: Held at home games to support our team. The Football Game Tailgate Committee will organize this event. Those attending are highly encouraged to bring additional food and beverages to feed the cadets after the game. The club funding for this event will NOT be used to purchase alcoholic beverages.
• Breakfast and Boodle: Treat bags for our cadets to provide energy and support before Term Ending Exams (TEEs). We also ask families for donations of items and assistance with packing the bags. A volunteer will deliver the bags to West Point for distribution. This event is held in the Fall and Spring.
• Hail and Farewell: Each May we gather interested Connecticut families to celebrate together. We welcome the new cadet candidates and recognize the graduating cadets. The graduates are presented with a flag flown over the State of CT Capitol in a presentation box. The Club will pay for the cost of the meal for all current cadets and new cadet candidates.
